As much as we test our code, there is always a chance that we miss something and a bug makes it into a release. In addition, Joomla allows for so many variations, that quite often issues are due to a conflict of various components, mambots and plugins, even templates can cause lots of grief - especially when they use Java Scripts as part of their code. Lets not forget different versions of browsers on different platforms, that can throw you for a loop.
