Following this post in a thread of 40 pages, you can find a link to the latest fireboard.php which addresses the following issues in 1.0.3:

• New Indicator not working
• Double reload of the forum every new visit
• Flood protection not working as designed
• A few other minor things

This fix is part of FireBoard 1.0.4 and does not need to be applied if you have upgraded/installed that version

1. Download fireboard.php from here
2. Either using FTP or JoomlaXplorer go to ./component/com_fireboard/ on your server
3. Rename fireboard.php to fireboard.php-back
4. Upload the newly downloaded fireboard.php to this directory

That should work. If you have any problem you can remove the new uploaded file and rename the php-back file into php and you'll be back to the initial installation.
